Ted's Story
Here is a little information about me:
I am presently divorced (married 17 years) and am living in Madison about a mile from the old high school which is just being refurbished and looks great.
I collect movies. Up to 740 DVDs at this time. I enjoy the older movies and I collect no blood and gore type of films. I read and collect action/adventure and historical novels. I have enjoyed enjoy Shakespeare in the park. I usually attend dancing in the park at Centennial before it gets too hot. I enjoy antique shops like those Bell Buckle, TN. I am the family genealogist, who is constantly behind.
I cook most all my meals (healthy food!)and enjoy it more when it is not just for myself.
I do most of my own auto repairs.
I am a part-time Mobile Disc Jockey and a beginners dance instructor. My Website is hmusicwt dot com Which is short for "Have Music Will Travel".
I work a full time+ job during the week in the commercial door industry. I live on a cash basis and save for things I want.
On and off I study how to write novels. Which is more off than on lately.
I am a frequent pipe smoker now; I quit cigarettes 11 years ago.
I enjoy wine with a go...Expand for more
od meal. I like a brandy and coffee.
A night of Ballroom dancing is great when ya can find it.
I have 3 sons and 4 grandsons. I hope to spend time with them and be of assistance as they grow and travel this life, but usually it is more over the phone than in person with then living in different cities and all having careers to contend with.
I was brought up at City Road Methodist the first 25 years of my life, although I haven't attend there for a long time, I still believe and follow the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. I like animals but, people are more important.
I believe in a Constitutional conservitive government and feel we are in the deep stuff at this time (2010).
I served 6 years, 1969-75, in the Army National Guard as a helicopter repairman. My youngest son is a career Marine. He is a Sargent with 6 years service and 3 overseas deployments to his credit.
I still can't spell well but, that's what spell checkers were invented for, too bad this site doesn't have one.
Best Wishes to all who checked on me and maybe if there is ever another reunion I will get my butt out and attend.
(Wonder if they would need a good DJ?)
