Tenerence's Story
The Memories of our reconciliation of the Great Andrew Jackson High School is a tremendous opportunity. Although the Andrew Jackson High School Cambria Heights NY has been changed to Art and Humanities High School, I will recognize that this is Andrew Jackson High School Cambria Heights. My name is Tenerence Chadwick. I am a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School class of 1984. I am a graduate with the class of January 1984-The January 1984 class back then was a small graduation class but We were a class very bright and energetic individuals full ambition for what was a head of us. Our graduation ceremony was held in the Andrew Jackson High School Library and The keynote speaker was the Great Principal was Dr. Evelyn Jones Rich. We are recognize in Andrew Jackson High School 1984 Year book on pages 96-105: The January 1984 class carried the torch to to the first to graduate before the June 1984 graduation class but We all were here to recognize the Journey that we experience at Andrew Jackson High School. The Andrew Jackson High School Cambria Heights New York back in the 80s had the reformation with the Leadership of Principal Dr.Evelyn Jones Rich. Dr. Evelyn Jones Rich had a favorite saying when she will address her audience, She will Quote "You can because You Know You can". I am a better person today for the dedication that Principle Dr.Evelyn Jones Rich.given to.Andrew Jackson High School. The class of 1984'had been blessed to have very successful graduate in many careers. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in 1984' I went on to seek a better life with higher education. My first step was for me to get to know God for myself and I have been blessed in my situation every since. I accept God as my personal saviour in 1984 and I was baptized in 1984. working in different areas in the church. I have served as Youth Sunday School teacher. I have been singing in the church Young Adults Choir. The experience was a growing experience and I am today blessed in many ways. In May 1985, I have accepted my calling. I was ordained as Youth Minister and Deacon through the African Methodist Episcopal Church Conference to.serve my church. In May 1986, I was accepted to the conference of the training and leadership of Young Youth Minister. I have been.blessed to.received my ordination license as while as numerous scholarships to further education. In 1992-1994, I was accepted The College of Technology, Manhattan...My chosen major was Office Technology, I completed with A.S. in Office Technology. In 1995-1998, I was accepted to Interboro Institute Manhattan, My.chosen major was Business Administrations/Management, I completed in 1989 with my A.S. in Business Administrations/Management. I became employed with some great positions in the early 80s like Pepsi Cola Company's working in Sales department. I became employed in 1998'with Sears & Robucks in there Sales Department..In 2002 to 2005,I was accepted to Mercy College Dobbs Ferry New York. My major at Mercy College was Business Administrations/Marketing and I graduated in May 2005 with BS in Business Administrations/Marketing. In 2005, I became very dedicated woth community awareness and I have been recognized to join the board of Queens Association Residents Association/NYCHA as Vice President...In summer 2005-2007, I was accepted in Mercy College graduate school and Master program. My major was Interactive and Direct Marketing. I have graduated in 2007 with my Master of Science Degree in Interactive/Direct Marketing. I am still employed with Queens Residents Association as Board Member/Vice President and NYCHA.
