Teresa's Story
Well........as you all know, many years have past since good old Boonton High. lol A few gray hairs, some wrinkles....NOT! lol I can't believe where the time has gone. I have been married, divorced, married and so on <not saying how many times lol>. I have two grown children, Mary is now 34, she was born severely handicap and I have dedicated my life to taking care of her. My son, Michael has just turned 25 and he is my joy. I am now living in PA, in the poconos area. Its nice here, but a bit too much snow for my taste. We have an acre of land, lots of privacy which is very nice. I rescue parrots and my flock is now up to 16 birds. From budgies to a blue and gold macaw. My pride and joy is Buddy, my Umbrella Cockatoo, he is such a trip. My newest one is Sugar, the B&G macaw. r old this month. Most of my birds were abused and mistreated horribly and I have taken the time and love to rehab them into social birds. The problem is that once I am done, I have fallen in love with them and I just don't want to take a chance and rehome them and something terrible happens. So for now, I have 16 of them and even though they are alot of work they sure make up for it with all their actions and love. So most of my days are busy taking care of my daughter and my birds. I also have 3 dogs, which of course I have to keep away from the birds for the dogs protection. lol Actually life has been pretty good, no real complaints, just your average every day stuff. Well that's about if for now. I hope to see some names I remember but you know how it is with old age. We forget alot of stuff. lol
