Teresa's Story

Life I grew up in Maryland on the DC/MD border. My best friend got a job at Bethesda Naval Hospital and it looked like a pretty easy job. At least from all the people I met who were stationed there. So I joined too, but I wanted to go on a ship and so I did. I was in the Navy from 1980 -84 on the USS Norton Sound and at Pt Mugu. Also in the USNR for 4 years up here in Minnesota. ourtney-25, Joshua-23, Shawnene-21 and 1 grandson 10 months old. My oldest, I had when I was still active duty. After I left Ca, I moved to Maryland and had the other two kids. Then we moved to West Virginia for awhile. I eventually ended up in Minnesota where I have been living for 18 years. I got divorced and went to college and got a BA in Geography.I make maps for the Mn Dept of Transportation.
