Teresa's Story
Life
Well, I stayed around Plano until 2004 when my husband and I realized we liked sand the ocean and palm trees much better than snow and corn fields so we loaded up the truck and moved to sunny Florida. I have 4 great children 3 boys and 1 girl and 1 very hyper cocker spaniel. My husband is a respiratory therapist and loves the fast paced environment of working in the hospital emergency room. I am back in school working towards my Bachelors degree in Exceptional education; I have a couple more years to go. I am taking my time with college, making sure I donÂt miss out on my kids while they are young and want me around. I work part time for our local Boys & Girls Club, my children go so I get to be with them there. I also volunteer with the Girl Scouts as my daughters brownie troop leader. My main focus in life is my children, college is a priority but secondary to my kids. m. I usually take one long weekend a year for myself and head out to Vegas (the craziest place on the planet) either with the girls or with my husband, if he can get away from the hospital. I hope you are all are good and life is treating well!
School
High school was an experience, one I wouldn't trade for anything. I wish I would have done some things differently (studied more, tried harder) but with time comes wisdom. Teachers I will never forget Mrs. Matlock and Mrs. Chatman. They both encouraged and inspired me. Mr. Gruidle, there could never be a better history teacher, well jr high Mr. Jacobsen ranks right up there too. Coach Cliffe, wrestling meets, Mr. Engle drivers ed and Mr. Zigue for PE. WOWÂ
..just typing their names makes me laugh. If I could only say one word about my years at PHS it would have to beÂ
unforgettable! High school while youÂre there seems like it will never end but looking back it was just a blink of an eye. Friendships we think will endure forever become memories all too quickly.
