Teresa's Story
Our family moved to Ft Irwin in 1967, when the Army post that my Dad, who was a civil service employee, was working at downsized. I started BHS that fall and graduated in 1970. We moved to Albuquerque (Sandia Army Base) when Ft Irwin was closing. From there we moved to Ft Meade Maryland where I met my husband. He was from the Rochester, NY area which is where we got married and where our 4 daughters were born. We left NY for about 10 years living in Utah, New Jersey, Kansas, Illinois, Colorado, North Carolina then back to NY. In 1989 we moved here to western Mass (The Berkshires) wher...Expand for more
e all of our 7 grandchildren (and now 3 great granddaughters) have been born. My husband and I are both retired, so we travel a bit. I keep busy with my genealogy projects and spending time with all my grand babies.
I should add that even though I moved around a lot in my life, I consider it a blessing to have done so. I have lived in some wonderful places, met great people and even though there have been bad experiences, those have been learning experiences. Hopefully our next move will be to a much warmer climate close to a cruise port. I am also on Facebook under this name.
