Teresa's Story
Well, where to start?? Went to EIU, majored in health, minored in driver's ed, thought that'd be fun....taught my kids how to drive. Was soon to be reminded of my own lead foot, when my son presented me with his ticket, telling me, "Everything I learned, I learned from you". To know my son, is to love my son! Ended up, about 23 years ago working for an ophthalmologist (please don't check the spelling on that, I'd be very embarrased if I got it wrong). Climbd up the ladder to office manager, worked in Illinois for a bit, and now back in Indiana, winding down to a non managerial position. Been there, done that. Loving what I do, and working hard. My son was married Oct 17th '09, built a house literally around the corner. He's a police officer working in Sauk Village. My daughter Kristen lives in Indy, she is an RN working on MICU at the University Hosp. SHe was just admitted to grad school, so she'll be there a few mor...Expand for more
e years, then making her way back home to live and work in Chicago. Very proud of both of them. Been married 31 years. (good God, no, just kidding)Husband John still working at INland in East Chicago It'll always been Inland, none of this Mittall crap. He's been there FOREVER. Has he thought about retiring?? If retirement is anything like a long weekend with John, then Hell no. (again, I think Im just kidding). It's very hard to concentrate on John, when the ad to my right is telling me there are great guys in Cedar Lake who want to meet ME!! Anyway, happy with life, when not at work, I enjoy reading or watching (dare I say) reality tv. YEs, there are some I really enjoy. the animals in the house keep me busy, especially the puppy.
