Teresa's Story
I married, George Stodghill. We were married 10 years no children. Divorced in 1987. Married, Sid Brown 5/13/89. We have one son Colton Lee Brown, Born September 5, 1990. Sid was killed in 1996 by a drunk driver. Our Son was also in the wreck. He is alive today by the grace of GOD!!! I have been so blessed, to have shared the last 13 years of Colton's life. He is the love of my life. He was 5 when I got the call he was in route to Cooks Childrens in Ft.Worth. It's not hard to imagin, my world stopped! I didn't know if my beautiful little boy would live or die. He was in a coma 9 days. Both leggs broke, jaw crushed, pelvis shattered, head injury, and internal bleeding. 6'5" 192lbs and looks just like his father, and I couldn't be prouder of the man he is becoming. lets face it no 18 year old male is a man. They think they are, but for all of us that have lived 30 years longer. Know thier not. In the short 47 years of my life, I have learnd alot! More in the last 30 then in the first 17. School was not a place I went to learn, it was more of a get away for me. The teachers only passed me so they didn't have to look up and see me the next year. I did meet alot of people, and from each and every one I became a better person. I am thankful where I'v been has brought me where I am. I Have worked hard. I will at a later date upload my caree training. We have a dog. Bud named in memory of Coltons dog also killed in accident. I just became a great aunte 11/18/08. I'll be back with more.
