Terri's Story
College
I took some classes here and there and then attended Davenport University in Holland, Michigan as an adult student. I earned a diploma in medical transcription but because almost everything now is voice recognition it's hard to find a job. I'm not interested anymore!
Workplace
I have worked in many places but my favorite was at home as a mom. My children are all grown and gone and therefore, I'm unemployeed! Actually I'm thankful that I can go with my husband when he can take off because we like to go to see the kids

Make sure you listen to Mississippi and Falling Back Together. My third son is almost 22. He is just finding his niche. He has a job he likes and hopes to work his way up. He lives in Nashville with his brother.
We can't wait to move south to be closer to them because they've all said they're not coming back to Michigan! I guess we didn't raise any dummies! I would sure miss the snow, though.
I would like to say that I am thankful to be a cancer survivor! I had 2 kinds of cancer. They were unrelated, rare, and aggressive cancers. I am 5 years out on the first cancer (GIST) and 3.5 on my second (parotid).
