Teresa's Story
After Graduating high school in 1979, I worked several years at Big B Drug Distribution Center. I ended up marrying a guy I grew up with, Randy Posey. We have 2 sons, Erik-age 27, and Todd- age 25, who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I also have a precious granddaughter, Jayda Elisabeth, who celebrated her second birthday on Jan. 12th, 2009. She is the light of my life and a Blessing to have.
I attended Birmingham Southern College after my boys started school(when I finally knew what I wanted to do when I grew up. During my college days, I worked as a substitute teacher at McAdory School. ic Association. Once I completed college, I went to work for Georgia Pacific Corporation. After working for Georgia Pacific for many years, GP sold the company to a group of investors for which I continued to work until Oct. 13th, 2009 at which time I was laid off due to economic conditions. Since I had been in the Building Products business for so many years, my experience in the industry helped in finding another job soon. I am currently the Branch Operations Manager of a Building Products Distribution Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. I am very fortunate to have found this job, especially one that I truly enjoy although it's a bit tough at times being an Auburn Fan in T'town. WAR EAGLE!!!
