Teresa's Story
Life
Life Bio.....Alrighty....
Where to start.....it has been interesting to say the least....but I have always tried not to be like the rest.....
I have done a fine job of that.......I am in my 13th year of my Kidney Transplant......My Mom gave me her Kidney on June 3rd 1996.. she is my HERO and my best friend and always my Mom.... I did a year of dialysis....not much fun by the way....I am a living example why I am glad someone was paying attention in science....the Transplant changed allot about who I was or wasn't....made me realize how much I took life for granted...mainly life itself.....One of the side effects of all the Transpalnt drugs was that in November 2003 I found out I had Cancer..Had surgery and with the help of my Family I am Cancer Free today........In all this I found I needed an outlet for myself...some way to stay whole and yet survive......I started designing stationary....I have always loved the crafty stuff....I paint, make stained glass, do folk art, even write some....thank god for spell check....English I should really of paid more attention in that class...I digress been know to do that.....I really love the graphics and animation of designing....so I signed up for some classes and I have been Designing ever since.......Yes I work I started my own business Suncatcher Jewelry Designs..I started out with Designing Art Graphics then some how ended up Designing Jewelry and Yes actually making it....I love what I do it is like playing dress up everyday, what could be better...I am my own boss so if I fire me I know I will be rehired the next day...
I design Period,Gothic,Medieval,Victorian,Art Deco, and Modern Jewelry... I do specialize in Medieval and Victorian jewelry....I love the simplicity of the Medieval Era from the 1400 to 1600 period..
The Victorian Era added more sparkle with faceted ge...Expand for more
mstones that had a wider variety of color than the Medieval Era...Okay I love what I do...
Two thundered years from Now I hope a women will see Suncatcher Designs on a piece I designed and wonder Wow did they have Flying Cars back then????
I am laughing it is really good for ya.....
I meet "C" Cecil also know as Monty in July of 2002 we were both going thru divorces at the time and playing Pool together really was a great way to let all that stress go...In 2006 "C" ask me to marry him at the kitchen table just set the ring box down on the table and I opened it and promtly swayed to one side and almost passed out I had to put my head between my legs.."C" presented me with a 3.25 Carat engament ring, the center stone is Princess cut and is Two Carats...Hello evey girls dream, it would not of mattered if it was not carats I love him but I do love my bling...Oh I said Yes......So I am married again and well you have to have a sense of humor to do that again..But I married my best friend he makes me laugh everyday and I do not remember my life before him... You see I am still the same person I was...I am just much wiser now......I get that you have to live your life like it is your last day.....because one day it will be....
The past is the past and I can not change it.....but I can have a sense of humor about it all....I will say I have loved and lost....been down and got back up....fought and won.....to find I had to fight again.....learned that FAMILY and friends are really all we have.......and to have a few good friends who have been there the last 20 years are the ones who will be the next 20 years.....Live life and if your not happy then do not wait around for someone else to make you happy.....You are the keeper of your own world......"In a world made of Dreams I reach for you"......TAB
I own it
