Teresa's Story
Life
Since I graduated; I went to college and training school. I got married to someone from Hampton; we had a daughter, moved to DC. My oldest will graduate 2008.
This marriage didn't work out. A few years later, I met my husband here in Hampton. And 6 months later we were
married in Hawaii. We lived there for 5 years.
We then lived in SC for 5 years ( my hubby was stationed in GA for 2 years of that)
We then lived in Seattle for 1 year.
We are now stationed here for the rest of the 20 years
My husband is Navy. So I get to come back home; after being gone so long.
Due to my husband's job, I have gotten to go to a lot of foreign places and have had a ball. I have been to Japan a few times which I loved very much and I was in Guam right after it got hit by that terrible Monsoon storm, I was supposed to be in a flight in that going to the Phillipines but that changed because of the storm.
Well I guess you never know what life will bring you; Due to certain circumstances,I am now seperated looking forward to my divorce. So I am glad I am back in my area so at least I know the area. I know God will see me through this divorce for I have obeyed HIM! I am now getting ready to go back to college and get my Bachelors in Paralegal Studies and then after that go to Law School and become a Lawyer like I always wanted to do since I was 9 years old.
I did want to become a Youth director for church, but I believe GOD wants ...Expand for more
me to follow this path and help out people in this way, I thought he wanted me to help out with children. But due to some things that have happened recently I believe this is what he wants me to do for his will.
I only want to do what is for his will!!!!
Oh and when I get stressed, I like to exercise, as some of you guys saw, i exercise alot, that's how I keep my shape, so I'm stressed alot, ha ha.
Now I am just trying to raise my little one in a GODLY home w/ a christian MOM and be able to give her the life I didn't have. Even though my MOM and STEPDAD gave me everything that they could and more.
Well hopefully my divorce will be at least by court standards final March 17th, talk about "Luck of the Irish"
We go to court that day. Either we will be declared divorced or we will be fighting in court again. I am getting what I deserve after everything I put up with from him, me and my daughter deserve to get what the military said we would get and he can't take that away from me even though in his warped mind he thinks he can (just another way to control me) BUT HE WILL NEVER CONTROL ME AGAIN, NO ONE WILL!!!!! I AM A STRONG WOMAN AND I AM READY TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT AGAIN LIKE I HAD TO BEFORE WHEN I GOT DIVORCED THE 1ST TIME. THEN I GOT MIND GAMES PLAYED ON ME BY THIS MAN, BUT NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I LET THIS HAPPEN (THIS I PROMISE MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER) AND I DON'T BREAK PROMISES.
I AM A WOMAN OF MY WORD!!!!!!!!
