Teri's Story

Dynamic Coaching and Consulting Teri Grier has more than 20 years in policy and issue advocacy experience. She brings a unique background of working closely with a wide range of professionals including CEO's of Fortune 100 companies, elected officials, international dignitaries, scientists, local business owners and young professionals entering the marketplace.. Teri has ten years of recruiting, training, and coaching experience focusing on Next Gen Leaders and how to bridge the gap between this new employee and their managers. She has a proven track record of success recruiting, training and placing young professionals entering the marketplace on teams where they can maximize their potential. As the CEO and Founder of Dynamic Coaching and Consulting, she works with leaders in both the public and private sector to develop strategic planning for 21st Century competitiveness. Teri is a native to rural Arizona, growing up in the Gila River Valley, and has spent much of the last 19 years working with the local, non-profit, county, state and federal officials to enhance business development, encourage jobs, protect and engage in economic growth and development. Teri began working on economic development issues when she was assigned to serve as an assistant legislative analyst for in the Arizona House of Representatives, Economic Development, International, Trade and Tourism Committee in 1992. After two years as an assistant analyst, she was assigned to serve as the EDITT Comittee's Legislative Analyst and worked directly with the chairman and all committee members on economic development issues. ext ten years championing economic development and infrastructure issues through advancing redevelopment opportunities in Maricopa County as part of their government affairs team, lobbying on behalf of the northern Arizona business community and working on staff for Congressional District 01 to ensure funding for education, health care, transportation, flood control and other infrastructure necessities that are critical for economic development and jobs. Between 2005 and 2009, Teri was part of the management team of the nationally recognized issue advocacy firm DCI Group. Her role was to develop third party relationships and strategic alliances throughout the policy community. She worked closely with client teams and third party groups such as trade associations, non profits, think tanks, scientists and other interest groups to move messaging forward through both traditional and social media. Teri is a member of the International Coaching Federation and a graduate of Georgetown Universitie's ICF accredited Leadership Coaching Certificate Program. Additionally, she is a member if the Arizona Small Business Association's Coaching Cadre of ICF certified coaches. She is also a member of Cambridge Who's Who. Teri has a BS in Speech Communications a Master of Public Administration and a Certificate in Public Management from Northern Arizona University. As an avid hiker and backpacker, she has hiked many of the trails around Arizona and loves exploring the outdoors. Teri is an enthusiastic gardener and calls herself a novis foodie. As part of her professional development and becoming more in tune with the body Teri is in training to become a yoga instructor.
