My kids are my strength. Although they did not know it, if it were not for them, I would not have been able to come through my health challenges. They gave me the strength to not give up. I am a mended heart and a colon cancer survivor...I give back to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. I am a true Hawaiian. I believe that everything around us is sacred; the air we breathe, the sky, the aina, the kai, the mountains, the food we eat and the people.
