Teri's Story
Life
I live in Kenosha and was elected County Treasurer in 2002. I'm engaged and own a great old brick home built in 1923 in downtown Kenosha. I love living downtown and enjoy all the great restaurants, the lakefront and being able to jump on a train to Chicago whenever I want.
I love to travel and meet new people. So far I've been to Russia (twice), Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Austria and Hungary. I've also been all over the US...I go to DC and New Orleans the most often. I will sometimes go to a new place just to check out their art museums and people watch!

uld have to say that it is a great place to go to school. Many of the people I met there were the first to support me when I decided to run for office! At UWP I was elected President of the student body and served on so many committees I couldn't list them all.
Before I ran for office I worked on numerous political campaigns. Probably my favorite was when I ran US Senator Russ Feingold's First Congressional District Feild campaign. Through working for Russ I got to meet amazing people including Bono and Robert Redford and tons of ordinary citizens who impressed me more than the celebrities. I have to say that working for the public is great and there is never a dull moment.
Workplace
I was elected Kenosha County Treasurer in 2002.
