Hello,
Well, everyone who doesn't remember me from High School, here is a little about me. I graduated in 1996 and went in to the Army. I have been in the Army (active duty) for 12 1/2 yrs. now. I have been stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C., Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, a few tours overseas, and finally I am at Ft. Bragg, N.C. once again. I have traveled to many different places throughout my career so far. I still stay in contact with a few friends from high school. Sorry that I did not make it to our 10 year reunion but, i was overseas at the time. I have been married for 9 yrs. to a wonderful lady and have two wonderful children ages 7 and 8. I always wanted to be a Soldier when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
My father was my hero when I was growing up. He taught me discipline and sense of direction. My mother gave me every chance to succeed in life and I wish she was here to share my success with me now. But, she passed away a couple of years ago.
If you have kids, then you probably already know that they test you in every way they can just like we tested our parents in the past. I realized that they will try to do or get away with the same things that we have in the past. But, what did we learn from our experiences? Guide them in the right direction but, let them mess up sometimes so that way they will learn from their mistakes as well.
