Life
I am presently married and live in the Brookhaven, NY, with or near my children. I have four children, have had 32 foster children, and am now the proud grandmother of a bouncing baby girl named Navaeh Shay. I have lived here on Long Island for 20 years now, and long for home. I just visited recently and it was nice to be home. I have often wondered about all of you who touched my life in many ways growing up, and hopefully some of you will get in touch with me for I would love to hear from you. I am currently undergoing treatment for breast and ovarian cancer. This is my second battle with breast cancer and this time had bi-lateral mastectomies done last November 2005. uction. I am positive and just living each day to the fullest. Everything changes you know when you have cancer. You love deeper and stronger, you are less easily upset or angered, small stuff no longer matters, and you become obsessive about being with your family. My children are my life and for them I will wage a war against my cancer, for I am not ready to go. I have lived a wonderful life thus far, but my purpose here on earth is far from over. I have taken in children all my life and I know there are many more to come. I just accept and take on this challenge with courage and not afraid to face tomorrow. I believe our lives are predestined so whatever is my fate was desided long before now, and I can't change that, but I can make a lasting and memorable impression so as to never be forgotten.
