Terri's Story
So this is an updated story...the happy ending that I would never have imagined! Living in Port Clinton Ohio because my high school sweetheart found me on Classmates...we were married in NYC under the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center last December and there are children and grandchildren and the understanding that we are very fortunate to have lived with love and joy in the years since RHS and now have been gifted with each day together! As I said, the happy ending I never would have imagined. Mrs. Bill Higgins, as I secretly wrote in my notebook in 1977...(updated July 2011)

I live in Lancaster -- close to Reynoldsburg but light years away from 1978. Not a bad thing, to have grown and changed and achieved in ways that were very different than what I had imagined at RHS.
I went to work after graduation, right into the wonderful world of fast food -- which was just fine with me -- working with friends and staying out late and goofing off wasn't a bad way to spend my time! And I learned to work hard and take the time to do things correctly (yeah, even a "dr...Expand for more
essing" a Big Mac takes some skill).
Lots more to describe, marriage, two children (who are clever, kind, brave, intelligent, funny, talented, hard-working and humble -- just like their mother), college and a career in nursing, active in the community as a volunteer -- and maybe one or two low points to share eventually.
There you go, enough information to let you know that I'm human, prone to imperfection and (happily) resilient and generally in a good mood most of the time.
I haven't gone to any class reunions, I might have taken my family to the Tomato Festival twice over the years, and occasionally still drive through town and do that "old person thing" and notice the changes at the neighborhoods, schools and shopping areas. No more Skating Rink? Tomato Festival moved from Huber Park?
My daughter works at Tall Timbers as a Wedding Planner, so I have a good excuse to wander up to Franklin County more often these days. My son is a Marine deployed in Afghanistan, and his wife and daughter are living near Camp Lejeune in NC.
I am an ER nurse. Lots of stories ...
