Terri's Story
Life
My Pets
Thankfully they are all housebroken! If men were only so easy!
My Kids
Can you say spoiled so rotten they stink!!!?!?!?...but not necessarily housebroken, more likely to break the house AND the pocketbook! Glenn and I finally got married so I don't exactly do the single mom thing anymore but we still tread carefully. Dad is around but I have primary custody so I get primary duties. Discipline has suddenly become a big deal and I must say that I don't handle it well at all. Katie and Jimmy are at home with us most of the time while Nico and Gabby are in Puerto Rico most of the time.
My Job
Crazy like everyone else's....I've been at University of West Georgia since 1986, full-time since 1993. Can I retire yet??
My Life in general
It's all about my kids! (Well, I have a little fun too!) I try to keep upbeat and positive in the hopes I can inspire the kids to adopt that same attitude - even more so! I learn new lessons from them constantly and I wonder sometimes which ones - t...Expand for more
he parents or the children - God really intends to lead. There's no question who is in control around our house! I wish we had Nico and Gabby around more though!!
School
Nothing too exciting about the school years. I do like to reminisce but wouldn't want to do it over again.
College
Pretty much the same as school - I'm glad it's over! I doubt I'll go back though I know I should. If I HAD to do it over again, I think I'd be a little more focused.
Workplace
Started my career at West Georgia as a student employee back in 1986. In 1993 I took a full-time clerical position in Student Development and over time advanced to Office Manager. I managed to graduate while working at Student Development. In 1999 I transferred to Human Resources as the Benefits Counselor and then in 2002 advanced to Department Manager (which sounds much more glorious than it is!). I work hard. I get paid. I usually enjoy it!
Military
The military has my full support! God bless every one of them and their families!!
