Terri's Story
After high school, I went to Macon Jr. for about a year and then decided that I was tired of school and have been working full time since. I worked at Robins Air Force base for a while but I hated it. Looking back now, I probably should have just put up with it (since I could retire by now if I had stayed).
I made up lost time in the "party" department, since I was pretty much a "goody, goody" in high school. The late teens, early twenties are pretty much a blur. Looking back now, I can't believe I lived through it. A lot of praying on my mama's part I think. But I wouldn't change a thing because if I had not lived through it, I wouldn't have learned some valueable lessons that made me who I am today...Expand for more

I didn't meet my husband until I was 27 (met him at "Whiskey River" if you can believe it). I have been married for 12 years and have one son and two step sons. We currently have custody of the youngest stepson, 15 years old. You never know what life will throw you but how you handle it makes you who you are.
I still live in Lizella (there's no place like home) and live next door to my parents so I have a built in babysitter. I still talk to several friends from high school but there are some that I would like to speak with just to see "wuz up". I have found a lot of people on Facebook and Myspace. I spend too much time playing on there but it is interesting seeing what everybody is doing...
