Terri's Story
Life
Well, I decided to upgrade my membership and update this bio with the 20 year reunion quickly approaching! I am still in a little denial, but I am dealing with it!
After high school, I lolly-gagged through junior college, just trying to please my parents by continuing my education! I finally transferred to Sac State, became a "sorority girl" and partied my way to receiving my bachelors degree in social work in 1993.
I then spent 4 1/2 years working, hanging out with friends, and trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up :-) I got reaquainted with my husband in May 1997 (he was a frat boy at CSUS, we were just friends through college), and we have been together ever since that day.
I decided I still hadn't had enough school, so I returned to CSUS and graduated in May 2001 with my Masters in Social Work. I have worked in some crazy jobs, mostly in the mental health crisis f...Expand for more
ield. I then went into the affordable housing realm and created a program that I now manage.
My husband, Chris, and I were married on September 15, 2001 (four days after 9-11 made for a lively wedding!) Then one month later, we bought our house and we still live in the arden park area. We have two children, Joseph (born 8/2003) and Emma (born 2/2005). They are the light that shines each and every day for me and I still can't believe I waited this long to have kids! I now work full time as a mommy and wife and part time as a social work program manager for a non-profit housing developer.
I enjoy running - ran my first marathon, the CIM, December 2005, alongside my husband. I am also an avid scrapbooker (being a Creative Memories consultant helps feed my addiction!)
I am having so much fun with my husband, my kids and my job. I enjoy life every day!
Can't wait to see everyone at the big 20!
