Terrie's Story
Life
I have been living in Conneticut since 1987. What a difference from the hot & humid coast but its home now. I married a great guy from Nevada and we have a son born in '86 and a daughter born in '89.My son Matthew is in his 3rd year of college. It is an art school and he is doing very well. My daughter Kendra is a senior in High School. Her dream is to own a cafe/small book store. I wonder where she got her reading habits from!! My parents passsed away in 2002 within 7 weeks of each other and it has been hard on my family. It's still hard to believe they are gone. While in Baton Rouge last year I was able to make it over to Gulfport and the family living in my old house invited my sister and I in. house is full of laughter again. They have 3 girls. I still manage a Waldenbooks store in my area and and have been with the same company since '88. I have since been promoted to a larger store and the challenges are huge but its all in a job I guess. I also oversee 15 Calendar stores and do a lot of traveling in the state. I guess you could say I like my job. We have 1 dog and 7 cats and 3 fish for pets. Last September (2005) I spent 2 weeks in Baton Rouge with the Red Cross at their headquartes processing volunteers in and out. It was an experience that I will never forget. Keep on rocking Gulf Coast!! I would love to hear from anyone from our class. I have been in touch with several people and it's great to reconnect with old friends. Hope to hear from ya'll soon!!
