Terry's Story
Within 3 months of graduation, Terry was diagnosed with a rare form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and spent almost the next year in treatment through Kaiser and Stanford University. After finishing chemo and radiation treatments, Terry moved to Colorado to live with our parents. She married a couple of years later and fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a mother to a little girl. Terry battled the Lymphoma twice more in her 20s ...Expand for more
with a remission that lasted six years. Sadly, this beautiful woman, mother, sister, daughter and life-long best friend lost her battle and died in May 1990 at the age of 34, leaving behind her husband, a 12-year-old-daughter, her parents and five brothers and sisters.
