Terry's Story
Life
At 47 years and counting, I celebrated 22 years of marriage this past May 1st. I have two children, one a senior and one a freshman in high school. I've lived in north Hoffman Estates for the last 17 years. After spending 19 wonderful years with Searle Pharmacueticals in Skokie, I left in 2000 when Pharmacia bought Monsanto/Searle to get Celebrex(Pharmacia has since been bought by Pfizer so they could have Celebrex. I was offered a great position with the new company in New Jersey, but I declined and took a very nice package. University School of Law in 1997. I wrote my master's thesis on "Growing Old in America, Legal and Social Issues Facing an Aging Society." I have since invested a large part of my package in a franchise called Right at Home. We do in-home care for our aging population. I am currently CEO and President of Right at Home. We became the first franchise for this company in 2000, they now have over 60 throughout the country. Things are going extremely well(knock on wood). I am looking forward to continuing to build an exceptional company and have taken an active roll in the industry as I am a founding member of the National Private Duty Association.
