Terry's Story
After graduation, worked at Forum Cafeteria in Lakewood while attending Cerritos and Long Beach City part time.
Entered the Sisters of St. Louis in '72, finished BA at Mount St. Mary's College and teaching credentials at Cal State Northridge. Many years passed before pursuing a masters in Feminist Spirituality from Immaculate Heart.

was my "first career."
In '88, left education and volunteered for a year with the Oakland Diocese as a chaplain in the county jails and juvenile hall. I've been in and out of prison ever since. Crossroads, Inc. is a six-month residential program for women. The last few years, we've expanded to include and employment program and an advocacy project.
Somewhere in the mix, I was elected to leadership with the Louis' in the US ... but couldn't wait to get back to prison when my term of office ended.
