Terry's Story
I left Lexington with family for Texas..and came back to Lexington and married my hubby...and I have 3 children...2 boys and 1 girl.
.
I have worked in postal and telecommunications for yrs.. and finally retired...but did part time work in customer svc. for a catalog company. I now live in Tennessee and stay home and write poem's and turn them in to Poem Hunter...(under aka). love the old rocknroll and blues and jazz..some country.my e mail addy..just figure terilgd...then hot mail .thanks
I always wanted to be a artist after school, My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were not on the same thinking of me as the counslor at Lafayette H>S> she told me I could never go to the university or college because of my grades, granted they were bad, but i could have attended classes, i just did not know it. that counselor at FHS ruined my self esteem for life..
i love swimming.and to ride my bike...mostly reading everyday
My Lord JESUS CHRIST is my hope and savation.. also my KJ Bible
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is sharon louallen, because she was a very good friend. aha I found her..
If I won $100 million, I'd give after taxes, 10% of it to my church, then spend the rest on my family, my home and save it.
retired now. home mostly for my hubby while he still works. I write poems on computer.Since last election, all has gone to heck.. it's hard to make it now days.
My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy, LOL or stuckup..but I'm not..
maybe my hair. but, I wear slacks.and loafers still. never got into jeans or tennis shoe. unless keds slip on,or converse.. was still wearing dresses and high heels to work when I retired..don't now unless to church.
no trophies. sorry, just little old me. wait..I do have my kids cards and things they made me thru out their lives...
In 10 years, I hope to be here. I'm going to get there by staying .
i'm an army brat .. lafayette was the longest place we were. i met sharon and we became great friends..not sure how come, but we were good friends and had a lot in common, also met my hubby there in Lex.KY> .
My first job was at millers department store, where I got paid $1.12 an hour to sell jewelry. What I remember most about it is being a big store in knoxville,tn downtown..now its'a called Belk's..
we moved all the time..being in the army...Expand for more
.. i slept in the back window of our car, when back windows where huge. i was always the new kid at school, never made friends for long. was always behind in school.. travel was my schooling.
I always wanted to be a artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were behind me.
I read or crochet or play games on computer..use to swim and ride my bike.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have computer, be at home, and work all I want to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
yes I do..JESUS CHRIST is my hero and my inspiration.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Sharon Louallen, because she is my best friend.
love my dogs both 2 yrs old. love the horse racing. love to read. love to crochet.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel bathroom and add on a larger room. My dream home would be 4 bedr.& 3 bathr..
all children are different. all throw you a curve you don't expect. they make life a new adventure .. bad or good. you never stop being a parent. without them how would you know about love and experiences through their eyes. and when they grow up, you learn about loneliness in the house. if your fortunate (as i have been) they can live near by and you can see them more.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10% of it to my church, then spend the rest on my bills, family and save it.
My current age is 62. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old. I was so completely wrong.
want to work at home. have computer can work for a telecommunications svc.
My best friend would tell you I'm funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy or stuckup.
love my loafers still and keds and converse.. also slacks. love long skirts or dresses. low heel shoes
I share my home with husband, which I find nice.
In 10 years, I hope to be by the water. I'm going to get there by taking a trip.
