Wow.. started parenting early, but wouldn't change a thing! Having an instant family was my excuse for no going to college. I worked for Brown & Root Construction for 8 years (did well) and then went to work for DuPont. I thought I was set for life with the greatest company in the world. They were working to sell off my Division & after 21 years service, I decide to take an early out to protect a pension & 401K. Got a couple of shift operator jobs in good plants, but decided to go the self employment route. That went well for a while, but hated the selling self aspect and went back to Operations shift work for LyondellBasell. Couldn't deal with it after three years and went back into Industrial Construction with BIS Tepsco as a Field Engineer making more money and loving my 4 - 10 hour day job!!!!! I am most proud of putting both of my children through major colleges with all expenses paid from a lot of shift work overtime! They have both proved my sacrifices all worthwhile.
