Terry's Story
I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My favorite way to relax is sewing. I really love creating beautiful garments. I also craft dolls, first for my kids, and now for my grandchildren.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have fun, variety, and challenges to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I moved from southern California to the mountains outside Yosemite when my kids were adolescents. Later, I moved down the hill into Fresno, CA, where I currently live.

able people I'm glad to know.
I think I'm in just the right place. I am truly happy with my wonderful husband, our grown kids and grandkids. I work with students and really make a difference in the lives of the folks I teach. I like who I am and what I do...it's a great life, isn't it?
My best friend would tell you I'm a nut, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as reserved.
I've always loved fashion. I hate that sometimes I have to acknowledge that a fashion is too young for me. However, I have always opted for a classic look that doesn't really go out of style. It takes only a little effort to update great older clothes into a current, trendy look. That's fun!
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by saving, saving, saving!.
