Terry's Story
Life
My name is Terry Pruett, and I was a member of the Narbonne High School class of 1975. After graduation I toured as a gospel singer for 4 years, and then entered Long Beach State, graduating in 1982.
I have been married twice (once for 6 years; once for 8) and divorced twice, and I'm the father of a beautiful 19 year old young woman.
Career wise, I'm the Senior Director of Channel Development and Sales at a high tech firm headquartered in the Bay Area. I work out of my home in Redondo Beach, California, after having lived in Chicago, Dayton, ...Expand for more
Ohio, Laguna Beach and Dana Point over the last 10 years or so. It's good to be back in Southern California, particularly in the South Bay, where there are so many good memories.
I still play basketball 4 times a week, and my softball team plays year 'round in Long Beach. At 50, I still move pretty well, and I try to stay in good shape.
I still love the music we all loved (Springsteen, Zep, Hendrix) but my daughter has me listening to the White Stripes, the Strokes, and Snow Patrol. It reminds me of the garage bands I was in growing up in San Pedro.
