Terry's Story
In 1994 I ran for Mayor of Long Beach. It was a feat, but I lost. I have since become friends with the Mayor who won, and turned Long Beach around - Beverly O'Neil. I attended Long Beach City College, and because of matters that came up at that time in 1997, I dropped out and left California and moved to Texas. From Texas, Dallas to be more specific, I moved to Atlanta Georgia, where I have been for the past 10 years. After a few bouts with the law, I am well on my way - lol. No, I am not America's Most Wanted. I am on the cusp of moving to Indiana, to finish up my education - something I should have done over 10 years ago, and look forward to Bannings class reunion in 2011. ch of my classmates...if only I had the wisdom then, that I do today! I miss Latonya Gilcrest, Darian Turner, Curtis Jackson (I think that was his name), Christy Douglas - yal remember her, the girl could sang! Patrick Suavee, and his brothers, and so many many more of you! Oops, I can't leave out Clifford Young. Diana Davila - the class president and so many more. Does anyone remember my talent show skit as much as I do? Remember how off key I was? I use to sing in the choir at Banning, and have fond memories of it as well.
