Teri's Story

My maiden name was Terry Wood, lived between Buckeye & Gila Bend. My parents owned the CosMo Café. I attended 8th grade in Buckeye and 3 years at Buckeye Union High. I married Woody Killman Jr after my Jr year. My folks wouldn't buy me a yearbook so I have no idea what any of you that check in on me looked like.
We had two boys but divorced after 4 years and I moved to Phoenix. I changed my name to Teri when I went to work as a Bunny at the Playboy Club for a couple years. Terry wouldn¿t fit on that little name tag I wore so they changed it to Teri. Ha!
I moved to Houston, TX. where I built a Specialty Advertising business. Did that till 1981. One evening I attended a Baptist Riley on the north side of town and died right there in that auditorium seat!
Walked out of there born again. God turned my life around and up-side-down. Wow, what a wonderfully difficult trip that was. He cleaned me up and totally changed my life. He blessed me financially & saved most of my family. He healed my mom from crippling arthritis in a home meeting one evening. I had no idea being a Christian could be fun! Wonder why I ran from it so long? It was the first time I heard we all had a spirit in us that was created to live for eternity, weather we believed it or not. If we accept Christ, this union would take us to Heaven. If we do not accept Him, we would spend eternity in Hell separated from all Love. My daddy didn't raise a fool....Hell didn't sound like a place I wanted to spend eternity. I choose Christ and what a wonderful life He has for all those that do the same.
I flew out to SC for a Holiday one weekend, met a fellow and we got married 10 days later in Houston, TX. & We lived there a year until we could sell my Advertising business and our home so we could move back here near his family. He did miss the fishing!

Between the two of us we have 4 children and my two boys have given us 16 grandchildren and twi great grands. We just celebrated our 29th anniversary this year; I think this marriage will make it. :)
We love to travel but then my husband retired early because of medical reasons 10 years ago, our budget did not allow for as much of that as we would have liked.
While searching for products that might improve my husbands health, I happened upon a business that I could do from home and help us improve our health dramatically. After taking the products for 3 months, I got my husband back and started sharing the products with others. My office is located in a sun-room overlooking the lake and I can go to work barefoot or in my pj's.
You know you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl. My business has turned out to be quite lucrative and I love what I do. Now the company I have partnered with pays for trips!
OF course we love fishing and entertaining. The business has given us a lifestyle that I have always longed for. Who would have thought the little homely gal that had dyslexia and couldn¿t pass algebra could have ever ended up where I am today?

Workplace
What I do now has been one of my better business decisions. We have been able to improve our personal health, reduce medical and doctor expenses plus our income has improved to the extent that we are now able to travel and do some of the things most retirees look forward to doing.
After I became aware of the harmful chemicals that I was bringing home from the grocery store. I changed to Green Cleaning products that have been tested for over 50 years...I have now created a safe environment for my family as well as our kids homes too. Changing brands can actually save your life and help you to live longer. Who would have thought a small thing like that would make any difference?
Now we are helping other look and feel younger and are able to spend more time with their families too.
