Terry's Story
Okay, so I didn't attend Fairfield High; I went to St. Vincent's in Vallejo. I grew up right up the street from Fairfield High and had many friends that went there. My best friend (since first grade) was Cathy Conyers (Eaton) and I'm sure a lot of you remember her. I went to every Fairfield High event with her and she went to every St. Vincent event with me. Cathy died unexpectedly on Highway 12 when we were 33 (1992). I had just seen her the weekend before her death. It was devastating. Leaving Fairfield, I attended UCSB and went to graduate school in Philadelphia. I moved to the Silicon Valley in the mid-80's just in time for the huge computer boom. o prevent illegal insider trading and traveled all over as a VP and public speaker for Smith Barney and before that a high-tech company, Komag. Had an office in New York and San Jose and led a very charmed life!!! Always stayed at the Marriott at the World Trade Center so that fiasco was a nightmare. I married in 1989 and we moved back to Fairfield in 2000 to be with my parents who have since died. I have a 17 yr old daughter at Justin Siena in Napa and a 13 yr old son at Holy Spirit in Fairfield. I still can't believe I live here again and we will most likely leave when our son graduates from high school. So my connection was Cathy Conyers but because of her I knew many, many people at FFH! Cathy is sorely missed by many.
