Montez (Tess Martin) Schultz:  

Life I was born to Tasca and Harry Martin III in Shreveport Louisiana. We moved around about every 5 years with the company my dad worked for: El Paso TX, Alpine CA, Miles City MT, and Barstow CA. My brother Harry IV still lives in Barstow. My dad passed away July 2005 and mom passed away June 2008. I was married to Leonard Bingham Dec 1971 and had our daughter Brenda (Aug 1972). We divorced and 3 years later I met Chris. He was a Navy Recruiter at the time when a mutual friend introduced us in Oct 1975. We were married Jan 1976. Chris and I moved to San Diego. We had 2 more children, Christopher Jr (Nov 1976) and Tasca (Aug 1979). Chris remained in the Navy until retirement at 24 years in 1994. We retired here in Ridgecrest (Mar 1986). Chris ended up being diagnosed with a terminal disease (Pulmonary Fibrosis) in 2006. It was determined that exposure to Agent Orange during his tours in Vietnam was the cause and also the cause for the diabetes he had. The love of my life passed away Oct 28, 2009. Oh how I miss him. Our children have given us 9 grandchildren: Zachary, Trenton, Justin, Raven, Seth, AJ, Robin ,little Chris and Airiana. I was able to be in the room when Zac, Justin, Raven, and Robin were brought into this world. What an awesome sight! We are very blessed and all remain close.
