Tevis's Story
Semi-retired. I enjoy hiking, photography, and salsa dancing. Also enjoy dancing to Ginga (Brazilian music), and R&B bands. Moved to Boulder in 1975. I love hiking the beautiful mountain trails in Boulder, RMNP (Bear Lake), Wild Basin, Brainard Lake. I usually go hiking (with my camera) by myself, but would welcome some company if anyone wishes to join me.

I do Wildlife & landscape photography, waterfalls, flowers, Christmas lights, fireworks, some street photography & sports events. Fall 2014 - won first place in a photography contest; black bear cub in Chautauqua Park.
Have a track modified Acura NSX; enjoy recreational track events at High Plains Raceway with various car clubs. July 2001, I did the 3 day high performance driving course at the: Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, in Arizona.

After graduating from USC, I tuned and serviced pianos for over 10 years, and played the piano semi-professionally (mostly at wedding receptions and occasionally at the Boulder Country Club). I did a studio recording of my best stuff in 1983, which included mostly jazz standards, but also 5 original compositions, Scott Joplin's New Rag, and Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu.
I have a 7,000 watt solar electric system. May 2019: bought a Nissan Leaf SV electric car. VERY fun (and very inexpensive) to drive; did you know that electric motors have 100% torque available from a stop? From a full stop, an electric car will smoke any high performance car off the line! Electric is the future of the automobile; cheaper to drive and maintain, zero emission-clean energy, much more fun to drive!
