Thaddeus's Story
Life
After high school I went to the Northwestern University School of Music where I was probably the biggest and most stubborn failure in the history of that school. After five years of fighting with the midwestern world I moved to Freiburg, Germany to continue my studies. I somehow managed to get a job in a small opera orchestra in the city of Aachen where remained for about four and a half years, and then moved to Frankfurt 21 years ago which has become my home. i play the flute and piccolo in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony which belongs to the Hessian Television and Radio broadcasting network.

y with a number of international ensembles. Have recorded many cd's with orchestras and ensembles, (I consider my solo cd's the products of "youthful indiscretion" and try never to mention!) I teach at two music conservatories; one in Frankfurt the other in Cologne.
I am divorced and remarried and have 3 children, Xenia 14, Valerian 12 and Calliope 3. A truly wild bunch, which takes up much of my energy, but which I also happily give them. Food, wine and philosophy are my hobbies, which works out well since the Rheingau is at the door and Schopenhauer and Adorno lie buried around the corner...
