Thais's Story
I was an exchange student in Prospect in 1979, where I studied for six months. It was a great experience and I was lucky to have a wonderful American sister, Sherry Patti. I had the chance to meet students from all levels, since I took classes with Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. I even joined the Gymnastics team for a short period. All was fun.
Back in Brazil, I got a degree in Psychology and worked as a psychologist for some years. I have been working at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 14 years now, which allowed me to live abroad for some years. And I...Expand for more
travel all the time, which is great.
I got married at 21 and I have two beautiful adult daughters. I'm very proud of them. I'm still married to the same guy, can you believe it? After spending 3 years and a half in Seoul, South Korea, I moved to Miami, Florida, in 2020. I really like it here and hope I´ll have the chance to visit many places in the US, just I like I did in Asia.
