Tharin's Story
I went into the navy pretty much right after graduation. along the way I saw a little bit of the world, fought in a few wars, saw some stuff that would really break your heart, and I almost got out every four years. I also met the hottest woman I've ever laid eyes on, and managed to convince her that I'd make an OK husband. we had a son in 1997 that looks exactly like me, but is smarter than i could have hoped to be at his age. And a daughter in 1997 that looks just like her mom, and is every bit as hard headed, I truly pity the boys that will be coming by in a few years.I retired in 2008 and moved to the sprawling metropolis (yeah right!) of Whetstone, AZ where I am employed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. as an avionics tech on the MQ-9 Predator B.

ows that he's smarter than about half his teachers, and he makes sure that they know it too.
Next year he will be going to high school. Although it would have been about the coolest thing ever to have him be the first member of the fourth generation of my family to graduate from Burroughs, I knew that I couldn't provide a decent life for my family living in the People's Republic of California. He will be going to Tombstone High School though, And that brings along with it enough badass points to make up for him not going to Burroughs.
My daughter Is 11 now, and though she's not nearly on the same academic level as my son, But she is an amazing artist and lives for her art. She's also about as defiant and hard headed as her mom, and so pretty, it has me looking at the mailman funny.
That's about all there is for now, but more will follow. Life's a journey, not a destination.
