Tharrla's Story
I have been married for 47 years, have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren ages 10 to 20. I am retired and love to cook, make quilts and garden. I also take care of Evan our 10 year old grandson and volunteer at his school. Last year I battled breast cancer, with surgery, chemo and radiation. I am doing fine now and doing what it takes to rebuild my body. I am hoping to find Mary Jo Burelson, Bill DeMello and Art Wise. I am NOT real computer smart. Just one of my downfalls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have NO recent photos, since I went almost a year with NO hair. It is coming back so who knows I may add a photo in the future.
Update 11/20/2009
My new CT scan shows that the tumors continue to deminish, so the Chemo is working. Side effoects are hard to deal with, but all in all I am very happy. I will continue on with my 11th treatmant Nov. 30, 2009.
