Theodore's Story

Life 6/21/07 FAMILY I married Sherry Stevens, who also went to Hollywood High and graduated in 1965. We were married in 1966. We have been married about 41 years. We have three grown children and 4 grandchildren. We had two sons and a daughter. We live in the San Fernando Valley and have a weekend place in Big Bear Lake, CA. Sherry stayed home and took responsibility for raising our children. As they got older she also took child development classes. She worked part time at a Montessori school and then at Laurel Hall while our youngest son was a student. She writes wonderful children's stories which I keep pestering her to get published. Sherry is also interested in interior design and is developing a "home presentation" business with our daughter to help people sell their homes. Our youngest son, Dayn is going to film school at Cal State Northridge. Our oldest son Richard works in information technology, internet operations and specializes in search engine optimization. That means trying to get your web site to come up in the top few results of a search. He also runs several web sites. My daughter Tiffany has two girls ages 19 and 20. She has gone back to school to get a degree I interior design at Cal State Northridge. CAREER I am an attorney now and have been an attorney since 1974. I like trial work. My office is in Van Nuys. I have a general practice and handle State and Federal cases. I have had Federal criminal cases in several states and in Federal Courts of Appeal in seve...Expand for more
ral states . I have handled a lot of personal injury and Workers' Compensation cases as well many other types of matters. I was also active in a family owned manufacturing business for almost ten years named L.C. Miller Company. I was on the board of director of Mercury Insurance Group for about ten years. HOBBIES I was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff from 1972 to 1989. That was a lot of fun, very exciting and challenging. I worked at Lennxo Station from 1972 to about 1984 and for that last few year of my career in Pico Rivera Station where I mostly worked one man patrol cars. I was also training Lieutenant. I also belong to Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum and have a 1/8 life size train there Our facilities are located between the Los Angeles Zoo and Travel Town in Griffith Park at 5202 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles, California 90027. We give free train rides to the public every Sunday afternoon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. I volunteer their couple times a month. Bring your children and grandchildren over for a free ride in a very pleasant setting. I also like to read, sail, and we had a ski boat on Big Bear Lake for many years until recently. I try and ride my bicycle as much as I can. I usuallydo about 10 to 15 miles per day, about 10 days a month. All and all life has been pretty good. Looking back I think the most fun I had, with the least responsibility, was my years at Hollywood High. I thank all of my friends for such great companionship during those years. Ted Naimy
