Therea's Story
I am married with two wonderful children; a 6 year old and a 13 year old. I have been teaching for eleven year and am currently teaching at a new charter school in Minneapolis called MTS-Banaadir Academy. It is an ESL elementary school with 100% of the population being Somalia. I haven't moved far from the neighborhood I grew up in, in fact, I am living in my childhood home....Expand for more
My parents retired 6 years ago and sold my husband and I the house. Since then, the kids and I have spent our summers at their lakehome and have taken a camping trip with them every summer. Since my mother passed away two years ago, we now take the trip with my dad.
