Theresa's Story
I moved to Tampa after my father passed away. Went back to college while working as an assistant manager for a sports bar in Tampa. Then I decided I needed life change so I moved to Flagstaff., AZ for 12 years. Worked a lot , ended up supervising security for high end communities while doing college round three to study social work. Got married and moved to Ashville, NC.

am where I was working closed so I transferred to working in the Center of Hope Shelter. I started just cooking because they needed one at the time. I then moved up to Casemanger for the shelter shortly after. We shelter men, women and families here I really enjoy helping the residents get the resources they need to get unto permanent housing. It get a little crazy here every now and then but it's a rewarding job.
