Alumni Spotlight: Terri Larson, RN-BSN ’15 CAITLIN WILSON - JANUARY 07, 2016 “Carlow has helped me develop a sense of accomplishment and make friends, and the professors are tremendously inspirational. I am a better nurse because of it.” After 23 years of taking classes, Terri Larson graduated magna cum laude with her BSN on December 18, 2015. "At 57 years old, I still felt like I had a lot to give and I really do love nursing," says Larson of what may seem like a lengthy journey. "And now, I have finally done it." In 1992, five years after graduating as valedictorian from nursing school at West Penn Hospital, Larson began taking classes in Carlow’s RN-BSN program. "I chose Carlow because I'm Catholic, and attending a Catholic university was very important to me," Larson says, adding that "at Carlow, you get a well-rounded education with professors who want to see you succeed."
