Theresa's Story
I didn't actually graduate from North Kansas City High School. I attended Crestview Elementary and Northgate Junior High and have some fun memories. My Dad died in 1970 and my family moved to Norman, OK. After high school I got married and had 2 fantastic children (my daughter is an R.N. and my son is a police officer) and they gave me the greatest gifts - grandchildren, 1 girl and 1 boy who are awesome! Divorced for 11 years - loving my life (most of the time). I've worked as a bank teller, staff accountant, office manager and most recently (5 long years) in oilfield supply as an inside sales rep. Laid off in April (actually grateful for that.) Starting a new career in Insurance sales. Just passed my state Life and Health insurance exam and am now licensed to sell. Going to work for AFLAC and still looking forward to retirement when I'll have more time to quilt.
