Theresa's Story
Life
After moving away from Festus, Missouri in 1981, I lived in Arnold, MO for 2 years and worked at Spielberg Mfg. in Antonia, MO. I then joined the armed forces in 1983 becoming a motor vehicle transportation specialist and met my future husband, David, in 1985 while serving in Germany. I received my honorable discharge in 1986 and moved to Melrose, Massachusetts, in the Boston area. I started working at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA as a mail clerk and eventually moved on to being a third party biller. I got married in 1987 and had two wonderful children, my son James in 1989, and my daughter Tara in 1993. In 1996 after 9 years, I left Lahey Clinic and started my own business working as an independent consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics which is what I am still doing to this day. n lost their father to heart disease and diabetes in 2001. In 2002 my children and I moved to Chelmsford, MA, along with my boyfriend Christian, a software engineer from Australia. Chris and I got married in Las Vegas in 2004 and now I have my husband, children, good friends, cats, a dog, and my house that all keep me quite busy and out of trouble!
School
I attended elementary school in Festus, Missouri up until 6th grade when my family moved to Spokane, Washington. There I attended Broadway Elementary and then went on to North Pines Junior High. After that it was on to high school at University High, which I liked and was just starting to make more friends in my sophmore year when my family moved back to Festus, Missouri in the fall of 1978 and there I finished high school and graduated in 1981.
