Therese's Story
After I married, we ended up living in Asia. We lived mostly in Taiwan, with short term moves to Thailand (off and on). We have travelled throughout most of Asia and my children and I are much richer for the experience of living in different cultures and trying to learn new languages and customs. om out 9 years of living as an American ex-patriot. I would not trade that experience for anything in the world. The travel that I have done has really helped me to be a better Social Studies teacher - especially with geography. I can really tell the students what all the different countries that I visited and lived in were like.
