Therese's Story

I hope that old friends remember me as fun, friendly, and full of life. I always wanted to be a mom when I grew up. My family and frieds thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. The wildest thing I did in high school was senior skip day all three years, the first two were practice. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my phone, keys, and good sense of humor to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Blood donors are my heroes. I moved to Texas in '82 for a wonderful opportunity. Moved back to Wisconsin in 2002 because the opportunity went away. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Skip, because he was my best friend in high school. My obessions are football COWYBOYS!, gardening flowers and tomatoes, cooking, creating new recipes, and teaching my daughter to drive. My biggest surprise in life has been raising a daughter on my on. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the kitchen and add on a another bedroom. My dream home would be on a farm. I've learned from my daughter that ...Expand for more
her problems are just as big as mine were at her age even though it is a different generation. I would love to see Mr. Hudek because he treated us like adults and always supported and encouraged us to reach our goals. If I won $100 million, I'd give chunk of it to members of my family and close friends, then spend the rest on investments, charitable contributions and personal items such as vacations, clothes, cars, other homes. The weirdest job I ever had was working at a school cafeteria. I share my home with my daughter, which I find to be alot of fun. If I got one do over I would go to nursing school. My first job was at Zayre's, where I got paid $2.10 to cashier. What I remember most about it are pink smocks and the registers. A childhood memory I'll never forget would be when I was 6 years old and I was riding one of our new ponies and my dad was holding on to me and someone else was leading the pony. I can remember turning to my daddy and saying "You don't have to hold on to me" no sooner did I say that, then the pony buck me off.
