Life
After high school I spent a few years bored to death working construction(union floorlayer), then had a job as a supervisor with the Madison County Illinois Supervisor Of Assessments. That was another boring job. After a couple of years at that I opened a nightclub in Edwardsville Il. called Fat Cats. I did that for 3 years and then became a booking agent for local rockn'roll bands, after a couple years I opened my own agency(Swain Productions) and had a pretty successful run until about 1998. I had a few people that did pretty well. Now I'm kind of semi-retired from the music business, I work with some old friends in a group called Mama's Pride once or twice a year. ago I started doing some tribute acts and booking them at places like THE PAGEANT, THE WILDEY THEATRE, ALTON & CHESTERFIELD AMPHITHEATER. I have about six groups, if we ever do a reunion might be cool to use one of them for entertainment, they're mainly tributes to bands from the 70s. I also work for JACK SCHMITT CHEVROLET in Wood River selling new & preowned cars.
I had six kids but lost my oldest son in 2013. I have a 34year old son, a 33 year old daughter, an 25year old daughter, a 23year old son and a 16 year old daughter, I also have 5 grand kids.
I would love to hear from anyone out there who remembers me, I haven't seen or heard from anyone from high school for a long time.
