Thomas's Story
I bought my first house in Hayward in 1997.
I like to take my dog (an alstrailian shepard named Micky Foster) for a walks in the evening.
More Quite evenings at home since my only child Kenneth passed in Iraq. At that time things just kinda slowed down.
I am climbing out of my den of hibernation. Gained about 10 lbs. lost a few more hairs.
Can't do much about the hair. But I am working on loosing the lbs. I'am BACK ! ! Kinda.
Brief History after High School.
Military:
I joined the Air Force 3 months after graduating from high school. Retired after 20 years of service.
72 Basic Training at Lackland A.F.B and Aircraft Maintenance Training at Wichata Falls in TX.
73 Stationed at Hamlton AFB,CA working on F-106's
73 - 76 Castle AFB,CA (F-106's) in 76 I cross-trained into In-flight refueling on KC-135A's.
76 - 79 Griffiss AFB,NY : In-fl...Expand for more

In 78 I went back into aircraft maintnance because my X (Karen Meredith Class of 71, the not so Suzie Homemaker of tommorrow) gave the ultimatem.
"Get out of flying or I am leaving".
I got out of flying and she left Upstate NY and the snow behind with my son. And headed back to California). 6 months later I was shipped over-seas.
1979 -81 Bitburg AB Germany and Alcombary Field, England where I worked on F-15 A/B's
81 -92 Beale AFB,CA Where I retired and returned to the Bay Area.
After I retired from the Air Force. I worked as facilities engineer at Domino's distribution Center in Hayward.
Four years later, I went back to working on aircraft again with United Airlines at SFO for 4 1/2 years.
Iwas furloughed from UAL after 9/11.
I am presently a Technician on the Air Train (people mover) at San Francisco International Airport.
