Thomas's Story
Life
After HS joined the Army for three great years. Youth is truely wasted on the young. I married in Sept. 64 and joined the Riverside County Sheriff's Department in Jan. 65. Jerri and I had a son, Mike, and were divorced in 71. I stayed with the Sheriff's Office until 1976 working as a patrol officer and detective. I married Janet Duncan Clinton of Eagle Mountain in 1974. She had a little girl and I had my son; a perfect family. Then we had a girl. I went into bussiness and we moved to Texas. s 20 now. Could not see her with no other kids her age so we adopted two more baby girls. They are both seniors in HS this year. Janet and I have eleven grand childern. In 1992 I talked Janet into helping me teach a course at the Police Academy. Several of the other instructors talked her into going to the academy. She is now a supervising detective working Criminal Warrants. She loves her work and is doing a great job. I retired in January 05 after some health problems which I am very happy to report have been corrected. I just went back to the Harris County (Houston) Sheriff's Department. Life is good having a great time. I do look forward to hearing from any and all.
