Tom's Story
I went back to school after dropping out in my senior year at Robinson and eventually -- after jumping through a series of ever smaller hoops, the last of which was on fire -- received a doctorate in civil engineering. I have worked as a licensed engineer and land surveyor for over 30 years in the bay area, including 7 years as an instructor and professor in the college of engineering at USF.

wife tells me that we are happily married, and though I have no biological children, her two lovely daughters have adopted me. We have five grandchildren and not nearly enough money. Fortunately, my sons-in-law are smarter than me and appear to have done far fewer drugs.
If you knew me during the time that I attended high school, I truly apologize for being so dismally depressed. I'm better now.
